My name is Micheal Murphy, and I am a Technical Theatre senior based out of  Columbus Georgia. 

What I enjoy most about Theatre is its creative aspect. Each production presents its own unique set of challenges. Stylistically, every show is different, requiring thoughtful decisions about color choices, lighting types, and overall design. Additionally, the social skills necessary to collaborate and bring a production to life are important. Specifically, I am drawn to lighting because of its ability to evoke emotions and enhance the production.

I have also received awards for my work in Technical Theatre, including:

First Runner-Up, Technical Theatre Challenge at GA Thescon 2024 (Team Captain)
